Grimberd.

A nation with a neither feudal nor aristocratic system.

A constitutional, peaceful state where magic and modern science live in balance with both each other and the law.

Apparently, there was once a demon lord who tried to take over our world, putting that peace at risk.

But that’s old news here. After all, it happened more than 50 years ago.

For sub-humans with long lifespans, the memory of those days might still be fresh, but for us simple humans, it’s already part of history.

It’s so distant that it doesn’t seem real.

Nowadays, it would probably be more efficient to learn about that war from books in a library than from people’s recollection of it.

And that’s why I’m here, in a library, learning about the war.
